Our Commitment
In fulfilling our mission, York Metal Products strives at all times to provide its goods and services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities. We are also committed to giving people with disabilities the same opportunity to access our goods and services and allowing them to benefit from the same services, in the same place, and in a similar way as other visitors.
Support Persons
Support people are allowed to accompany the person with a disability anywhere the person is going on our premises.
Service Animals
Service animals are allowed anywhere the public is allowed.
Emergency Evacuation Procedures
If you require accommodation in the event of an emergency evacuation, please notify Human Resources at hr@yorkmetalproducts.com where possible a minimum of five (5) days before your visit. The Receptionist will provide you with your individualized emergency response information package upon your visit.
Accessible Formats and Communications Supports
If you require accessible formats of any of the documents from your visit or need assistance with communication, please notify hr@yorkmetalproducts.com where possible a minimum of five (5) days prior to your visit. Human Resources will ensure you receive the information you need within ten (10) business days following your visit, in the format you requested. If the format you have requested is not feasible, HR will work with you to provide you the necessary documents in an alternate method at no charge.

The ultimate goal of York Metal Products is to meet and surpass expectations while serving employees, visitors and customers with disabilities. Comments on our products, goods and services regarding how well those expectations are being met are welcome and appreciated.

A copy of York Metal Products AODA requirements are available upon request. Please notify our Human Resources department for all requests related to copies of our AODA requirements and the format in which you would like to receive it.
